ST. PAUL SUNDAY SCHOOL welcomes all 3-year-olds through 6th graders to participate in “God’s Squad” beginning at 10:45 a.m. with pre-service singing. Preschoolers-6th grade students participate in the first part of the worship service and after the children’s message they are invited to go to God’s Squad Sunday School. During the summer months, children will return to the Divine Service when the offering is received so that they may participate in a blessing at Holy Communion and the close of the service.
TODAY IN GOD’S SQUAD children will experience the “Journey of Elisha”, 2 Kings 4:8-37. God used Elisha in his journeys to bless the Shunammite woman, granting her a son and then raising him from the dead. God sent His Son, Jesus, to journey to the cross to bless all humanity in this life and to raise those who believe in Him from the dead, granting them eternal life.

RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE thanks EVERYONE who helped…our volunteer helper staff, and all those who gave blood.
ST. PAUL LUTHERAN
A generous man will prosper; he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed. Proverbs 11:25
We have been given the ability to refresh many families in the upcoming months because of the generosity of families in the Hamburg/Pinckney area. Daisy’s Pantry (through Gleaners) was the recipient of the May 14 postal carriers food drive in these communities. With the help of St. Paul volunteers we took delivery of 1,532 pounds of food on May 16.
During the month of April a total of 1,582 pounds of food was donated or purchased, and we were able to distribute 1,804 pounds of food and other necessities to 21 families (66 individuals).
If you know of someone who is in need of food, have them call Love INC (517) 552-3620. The pantry is open on Wednesdays from 2:00 – 6:00 pm. by appointment through Love INC. If you are a member of St. Paul, you may call Arlene Wiltse to set up an appointment.
Pantry needs at this time include 5# or smaller bags of sugar, jelly, saltine crackers, pasta sides, and spices. All items can be placed in the grocery cart in the small fellowship hall. We can use egg cartons again.
Sunday Evening Coffeehouse meets tonight from 5:00 – 6:15 p.m. in the Activity Center. Tonight we will be doing the pre-event Bible study titled, “The Brirdge: Welcome to the Family” based on Ephesians 2:1-5 and other selected scriptures. Next Sunday, June 19, we will be doing the final pre-event Bible studies for the LCMS Michigan District youth gathering. Coffeehouse will not meet on June 26.
