Sunday Adult Bible Study: THANKFULNESS—JOY—BLESSINGS—
During this month which includes our National Day of Thanksgiving, we will study one of the most joy-filled books of the Bible. It comes to us as the apostle Paul wrote from a Roman prison. When Christ is present, even a jail cell can be a place of rejoicing. Join us as we begin a study of Philippians this morning.
Just Words is a new Bible study which meets in the Upper Room during education hour. The Gospel is more than words. It is the dynamic, saving action of God in Christ Jesus through any of its various forms: Word or Sacrament.
Just Words explains the language used by the Bible’s writers to describe and convey what it is that God has done for us in Christ. It helps the reader see the wonderful variety, rich texture, and clear doctrine with which God communicates His Good News. Cliff Richardson will be the discussion leader and the book Just Words by Jacob Preus is provided. See Cliff or Mike for a book.
We continue our study “So the Next Generation Will Know” by Sean McDowell and J. Warner Wallace. This next generation, quite literally, has the potential to change the world. If you’re raising, grandparenting, mentoring or teaching Generation Z, the study, backed by the latest research with great ideas for activities and teaching is for you. You are invited to join us at 7:30 am for some Bible study, conversation and a cup of coffee. There is room for you around the table.
