Fall Festival 2016

Sunday, September 18 | 12 noon – 4PM

On September 18, St. Paul is hosting its Fall Festival from noon to 4pm. Stick around after the 11am service or come back at noon for a delicious meal and fun and fellowship for all ages. A freewill offering will be taken for this lunch.

14089008_10154384716772488_8040924205879222027_nDo you have friends who are always raving about something? They might be fans of the Tigers or maybe they found a new fitness program. Maybe they love their job or even their toaster and are always sharing about it. What if we at St. Paul raved about our Savior? What if we told everyone we knew that we have the best news, and people can hear more right at St. Paul!

We hope the Fall fest will be a chance to make connections with others from our church and the community. Have you always wondered where the guy who sits in the third pew works? Ask him at lunch! Do you think the kids on the right might go to school with your grandkids? Ask them while you’re in line for a drink! Or bring a friend and meet a new friend while playing Ladder Ball.

What can you and your guests expect?

Well, for starters, let’s talk about the important stuff…FOOD! We have James “Buck” Gusoff, a St Paul member and L8 E27 DFD Firehouse cook whipping up some homemade chili (gluten, soy and dairy free). You can put that in a bowl with your favorite toppings, top a hotdog, or make it into a walking taco (a kid favorite). You’ll be able to wash that down with a cold pop or bottled water. We hope to be able to offer some baked goods as well as some hot cider if it’s available this early in the season.

Next, lets talk about the FUN that will be had by kids and adults alike.

First, the kids will spend hours bouncing from bounce house to obstacle course to the inflatable rock wall and carnival games. I’m sure there will be some dancing along with the VBS band throughout the afternoon as well. There will be a door prize table for the kiddos as well.

Now on to the Adult fun stuff. We hope to have activities that cover every age and interest. There will be a couple card tables set up ready for Euchre or other card game of your liking. So grab your partners and make a plan to grab a table. We will have two sets of custom made St Paul Corn Hole games (thank you, Ian, for your talented woodworking) as well as a ladder ball and outdoor yard Yahtzee. And lastly, we hope to fill a couple tables for Bingo!!

Door Prizes

We will have a few door prizes for the adults, so stick around till the end to see if you’re a winner!!! So, grab your family, pick up your friends, and bring your neighbors so they can see and feel the love of Jesus through His church; His people.

Facebook Event

You can show people on Facebook you plan to attend this festival by marking “Going” at the Event Page for the Fall Festival:

The more people on Facebook share this event and mark themselves as going the more visible the event will be on the timeline of your friends.

Brothers and sisters of Christ with a servants heart…We need YOU to make this a success! Are you available to help with set up? Would you wash some stuffed animals? Would you staff the welcome table? Would you put away chairs at the end of the event? Would you like to donate a baked good, a raffle basket or adult or kids door prize? Here are the opportunities to volunteer the day of the festival: http://tinyurl.com/StPaulFallFest2016
