The surveys of the congregation asking for shared memories and thoughts for the future are being returned in the offering and/or dropped off at the office. Thanks! We would like as many responses as possible. Please fill them out by September 16. Extra copies are in the back of the church.
Do you have a picture that could be part of a slide show highlighting the history of St. Paul? It might be an activity, a personal event, or the building under construction. If you have one, please scan it and submit it. Or we could scan it for you. Just bring it to the church office. Based on the pictures submitted, we may have a couple of slideshows from different eras of St. Paul that will be shared in October. They need to be received by September 23 to be included.
St. Paul Ministry Fair

Join Pastor’s study of Luther’s Small Catechism
It was wonderful to see over 40 people attend the first session last Wednesday. If you did not get a folder that night, they have been restocked and they include the five sheets handed out during week one. There are additional folders for those who are interested. All are welcomed to join us this Wednesday from 7 p.m.-8:15 p.m. In addition to the commandments that relate to our neighbor, we will look at Biblical responses to social issues such as abortion and the redefining of marriage in culture.
Would you like to share faith in Jesus in a way that makes sense? This study will provide simple tools that encourage listeners to think for themselves about brokenness in the world and a plan for creation that makes sense. With words and pictures the plan of God is revealed. Come, listen, respond, act. Fresh Brew meets on Sunday mornings at 7:30 am in the Large Fellowship Hall.
Monday Women’s Bible Study

Kids’ Connection During the 11 am Divine Service
This is a time for 3-year-olds through 2nd-grade students during the 11:00 am Divine Service. The lesson today is “In the Beginning” based on Genesis 1:1-2:4. Children leave for Kids’ Connection after the children’s message and return when the offering is received so that they may participate in a blessing at Holy Communion as well as the close of the worship service.
See you at the Fall Festival TODAY from 12-3 pm. An afternoon of free events for all ages. There is still time to invite a friend to join you – just text and invite!
