Veterans Day and Military Bible Sticks
We are grateful for all who have served in our Armed Forces. It also is fitting with our National Day of Thanksgiving later in the month, that we have a special thank offering to support our troops today. Military Bible sticks contain the entire New Testament. They are given to chaplains in our armed forces. They in turn share them with the troops. They also offer a Bible Stick to their spouse and a Children’s Bible for their sons and daughters. Each Bible Stick costs $25.
Wednesday December 5—Survey Says…
197 surveys were delivered to the District office about our ministry and our next Pastor. Wednesday December 5, after the Advent Vespers Devotion, Dr. Robert Kasper from our District Office will share a Pastor’s Profile based on those surveys. It will be both a presentation and time of discussion. Advent Vespers begins at 7pm and will conclude that night at about 7:30pm. The Town Hall meeting based on the surveys will begin after a brief stretch break. Dr. Kasper anticipates his presentation will be about 30 minutes, so you can be headed home shortly after 8pm. That night you can also come for a simple supper at 6pm. Please plan to be with us.
