Pastor Gaertner Receives Call to Serve Our Shepherd
Pastor Gaertner has received a divine call to serve as the Senior Pastor at Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, Birmingham, Michigan. He has a Divine Call to be the pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church, and now he has also been extended this call to serve Our Shepherd. It is his duty to discern how God is working through this process. Please pray for his family. Both places are God’s flock. God will take care of us all. Pray for the people of St. Paul and the people of Our Shepherd. God has plans for us. The Word of the Lord endures forever.
Easter Egg Hunt
The Easter Egg Hunt is on March 31, 2018 at 10am. This event is a wonderful time to invite young families to connect to Jesus at St. Paul. Easter weekend gets very scheduled, so plan early to let your neighbors, friends, and family know about the Easter Egg Hunt and worship services.
Would you like to sing praise to God for His Risen Son? Choir Practice for Easter worship will be held after the 11:00 am services on Sunday March 25. See Chris Mowers (email@example.com) for more details on the types of music. Rehearsal will last 90 minutes.
Our Easter Sunday service hymns will be accompanied by instrumentalists! We will have one rehearsal, on March 31 at Noon. If you play an instrument and want to participate, email Lydia Vedder (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Chris Mowers (email@example.com) so that we can be sure that we have music for you.
Volunteers Needed for Easter Sunday
Volunteers for Easter Sunday are needed. We are looking for ushers, greeters, readers, and communion assistants for the three worship services we provide on Easter Sunday at 8:00, 9:30 and 11:00 am. Signup sheets are available in the Small Fellowship Hall. Talk to Mike Hausch with any questions.

This study currently is moving into the Intertestamental time of biblical and world history. This class takes place in the Large Fellowship Hall.
“Death then what?”
Pastor’s 9:45am Class
That we all die is pretty much agreed upon, it’s what takes place two seconds later that makes us wonder. Explore this lively topic in “Death … Then What?”
“Life Explored” at Fresh Brew
Fresh Brew studies “Life Explored.” Life Explored is a new way to share the gospel in today’s highly visual culture. The seven interactive sessions are based on stunning films shot all over the globe. The series helps people uncover what they are living for, and see how, in Christ, God meets their deepest desires for happiness. Fresh Brew meets Sundays at 7:30 am.
“Praying the Scriptures”
This class begins in the library during Education Hour on April 8. Join Sally Bucrek in a five-week study that will look at the power in God’s Word and then learn to incorporate it directly into our prayers. The class will give you an overview of a centuries-old prayer approach called Lectio Divina which is still in use today in many Christian churches. For more information to purchase the reference materials in advance, contact Sally at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Monday Women’s Bible Study

Children leave for Kids’ Connection after the children’s message and return when the offering is received so that they may participate in a blessing at Holy Communion as well as the close of the worship service.
