Loved and Sent – Fall Church Wide Study

Life Group Launch 2017

Join us for a 6 week church-wide study

October 22 – November 26

Then throughout the week the Life Groups will spend time in study on these topics. The Life Groups are small groups that are being formed for these six weeks. Some of these groups will continue to meet after this church-wide study. Some of the groups will reform in the fall of 2017 for our next church-wide study. Everyone is invited to join a Life Group. You can sign up on Sunday morning during the fellowship time between services or express your interest online.

Loved & Sent

Series Expectations

Clear

Can you clearly communicate the heart of the Christian message. The modern world is inundated with noise. Can you speak clearly enough that the person listening to you can hear you through the noise?

Concise

Our interactions with people are often brief. Modern media has trained us to pay attention in short intervals. There is necessity for longer explanations, but if we can’t summarize our message in one minute we will be challenged to have the chance to have that longer explanation.

Consistent

Consistent doesn’t mean rigidly scripted. The Bible uses a variety of language and metaphors to express the Gospel, yet the core of the message is fundamentally consistent.

Compelling

What makes the Christian story compelling? What is so gripping about Jesus? Why would anyone devote their lives to a first-century carpenter executed as a criminal? Christians must know what makes Jesus unique.

Who you are and why you are matter.

You are more loved than you ever imagined and sent with more purpose that you ever thought.

“In this is love, not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins.”

– 1 John 4:10
