KIDS’ CONNECTION is a time for 3-year-olds through 2nd grade students to connect after the Children’s Message. Children will participate in the first part of the worship service, head to Kids’ Connection, then return to the Divine Service when the offering is received so that they may participate in a blessing at Holy Communion as well as the close of the service.
BIBLE STUDIES
FRESH BREW BIBLE STUDY meets at 7:30 a.m. The current topic is a book study of C.S. Lewis, “The Screwtape Letters.” Our current discussion focuses on how Satan can use marriage, sexual or even the church to tempt us and take us out of relationship with our heavenly Father.
SUNDAY EDUCATION HOUR
9:45-10:45 a.m.
v Nursery is staffed for young children
v Sunday School is a place for kids preschool through sixth grade
v Pastor’s Bible Study and 12 Ordinary Men are great groups for adults
SUNDAY SCHOOL at St. Paul Lutheran Church is a wonderful environment for children to grow in their faith alongside their friends. Children are connected to God’s Word and get to the heart of each Bible teaching. Crafts and games give students a hands-on way to highlight the Bible story message. Bring your children, 3-years-old through 6th grade, down to the basement classrooms for an hour of Bible stories, songs, crafts, and fun.
Today in Sunday School The “Parable of the Good Samaritan served as the basis for the lesson. Jesus calls us to show mercy to everyone in need because He Himself is the Good Samaritan to us. Parents could ask in what ways did the Samaritan show mercy? How can we share God’s mercy with others?

The tomatoes are just beginning to ripen and that will require many able workers. Help yourself to goodies hand-picked by you in the garden, stop by the kitchen on Sundays and choose from whatever is on display, or look in the left side refrigerator during the week. Along with willing hands we also take donations. If you would rather help with harvesting when someone else is there, contact Barb Nettleton at maxbarb@chartermi.net or (810) 355-4350.
